Apparently there word of creating a ‘whites-only’ basketball league. Besides setting us back a hundred year, I thought there already was a white alternative called basketball. “Toss me the rock, Jerry.”
A new professional basketball league called the All-American Basketball Alliance (AABA) sent out a press release on Sunday saying that it intends to start its inaugural season in June, with teams in 12 U.S. cities. However, the AABA is different from other sports leagues because only players who are “natural born United States citizens with both parents of Caucasian race are eligible to play in the league.” AABA commissioner Don “Moose” Lewis insists that he’s not racist, but he just wants to get away from the “street-ball” played by “people of color” and back to “fundamental basketball.” Lewis cited the recent incidents of bad behavior by NBA players, implying that such actions would never happen with white players:

I feel for Conan. I grew up loving his show more than Leno (I’ve always had respect for his show). Something about Conan’s antics spoke to the 13 year old boy in me. Everything from his invisible strings, to masturbating bear. Anyways, TMZ made a game where Conan has to grab as many contracts as possible (and avoid Lenos). My best is 18 contracts, try to top that!
I purchased a Zagg invisible shield for the Macbook 13.3″ this summer. Zagg offers a very appealing Lifetime warranty on all of its products. This may sound all and well, but the issue lies in the replacement process of this item. My Zagg product has started to discolour and peel overtime. I contacted a Zagg rep who said that my product is covered by warranty.
My replacement shipped on the 18th, but it has yet to arrive. They also give you 20 days to send your defective item before they charge your credit-card the full amount.
Anyways, I refuse to send in my item until I receive my new one (only makes sense since I want to keep my product protected at all times). The 20 day period is coming up (Jan 9th) and I came back from the post office with quotes. Apparently the cheapest delivery service available if my item arrived tomorrow would be overnight (30+ dollars). This is bollocks, so I called Zagg to complain.
The wait on the Zagg customer service line was atrocious. When you first call the voice message says that the wait can take up to 10 minutes. Later on, the automated message said that the wait could take up to 20-40 mins with the traffic. Anyways, I ended up waiting 50+ minutes before getting any support.

I finally got through, but not before speaking to 3 reps in total. The first rep told me that they will connect me to customer service (which I thought I was speaking to originally). I waited another 10 mins before I was connected….to VOICE MAIL. The name of the voice mail was of Uela N. After the voice mail I was redirected to the main automated screen where I had to wait once again to get connected.
Finally I spoke with Michael who told me to wait one more day before issueing a re-fulfilment claim.
NOTE: Uela contacted me via: e-mail to extend my return period. This however does not get me my Zagg product in my hand sooner.

To fulfil the update needs, I’ve resorted to digging into my archive of goodies. Either someone is highly under-skilled in the field of smashing watermelons with their heads, or someone in the studio has it in for this guy and slightly froze the melons prior to.
Regardless, we can all revel in witnessing a man crash and burn in front of a live studio audience.
